My
Projects

#BANVANWASTE

ENVS 2100 made me fall in-love with creating and sharing ideas to develop a project that will not just us creating a project for the school but also a project that will help the community. In this class I have learned how to communicate, share, and take an initiative to put together something that will be able to be used by the city of Vancouver. It is a class were you get to meet and work with important people from the CityStudio which was a very awesome experience.

Our team got the chance to collaborate our zero waste "#BANVANWASTE" project to Emily Carrs Elementary school with the help of a friend of our team member. The goal is to create fun workshops that let youth have the power to spread information. Engaging (the youth) and empowering them to take an action to fight climate change. Alcohol in Parks

The final project.

Doing this project was quite challenging especially because of the limited time our group had, conflicting schedules and how polarizing the topic is. However, after having two dedicated in-person meeting with the group, we were able to discuss our ideas and condensed it together with the help from our instructor and other officials from Parks Board and Vancouver Coastal Health.

It wasn't very easy to me to get back into doing a paper because of taking one semester break and working a full-time job. However, the team made it easy for me to convey my ideas about the project and I am glad to be able to work with such an amazing team that helps and values each other's idea.

This project is solely made from the bottom of our hearts. This contained our ideas, values, and our passion in helping the community.
